There was a time when my daughter was running away from math while in the middle school. The math program at mathmentor turned her around and she is now doing very well in high school math.

The 360 degree approach you take in teaching and making kids familiarized with the concepts is unique among all tutoring places we have seen before. just like you were helping my son in PreCalc. I'm actually thinking to send his brother who is in grade 5 to get an early start in this deep learning exercises, if you have availability.

"Recently, my family and i moved from CT to New Jersey due to my job. At her prior school, my daughter took Algebra 2 honors and was doing very well. When we moved to the West Windsor- Plainsboro school district she took Precalculus honors. Due to the very advanced curriculum here she struggled greatly in the first 2 quarters receiving 2 low C's for both quarters. That's when both my daughter and i decided she needed tutoring. When we started tutoring at the mathmentor program it was 2 weeks into the 3 quarter, immediately with the first test we saw improvement. At the end of the marking period her grade went up 14 percent and she received a B. The next marking period my daughter did even better, she received an A that marking period bringing the overall grade to a B. In the time we started tutoring with the program, she went from a C to an A.

Math Mentor program helped my Son during High school years. He performed well in SAT and now he is Sophomore in college. My daughter struggled in math in middle school however with Mr. Prasanna's guidance we can see improvement in her math skills. My son was trying to skip Pre-Calculus H&A last year for Option II. For a lot of the concepts that he didn't understand, he insisted on doing them with subject guidance from Prasanna who my son claimed could explain them very well. My son passed the Option II test, and I am very grateful for Prasanna for helping my son out. He is a great teacher and I very enthusiastically recommend him for any math student of all levels.

My son is a good math student but was very reluctant to do more practice when preparing for SAT, so in the initial attempt he couldn't score well. However the mathmentor program insisted and enforced a level of practice that he had no choice but to sit through. He benefited from that additional effort with a full score this time.

After comparing all the options he decided to accept Rutgers Hons program for a couple of reasons. The scholarship he is getting and anything he could learn on comp sc, Rutgers offers all of it nearby. The job opportunities in nyc because campus recruitment/careers team at Rutgers is one of the best I heard. he wants to work for Google, and many from Rutgers got into Google last year. To answer some queries (above) about receiving learning support and tutoring from India. Many of our students said they tried but wasn't effective. There are top class subject mater experts and teachers in India. However it's like 2 sides of the globe though dealing with the same earth. Totally different context, examples, structure and methods in learning though the math content and core concepts are universal. You lose precious time trying or exploring non standard options, and it will also make you to reset your learning approach after trying and failing. So it gets more challenging afterward with conflicting approaches.
